Colin Kershaw joined Brookes Bell in 1990 and is responsible for finance, administration and marketing.  He became a Partner in 2002 and Managing Partner in December 2010. Before joining Brookes Bell, he worked for 15 years in the port of Liverpool and was Assistant Marine Operations Manager in the Mersey Docks and Harbour Company.  Colin has general, financial and IT management experience and has an honours degree in Psychology  and a diploma in Management Studies. Colin is assisted by experienced accounts, secretarial and IT staff in Liverpool, London and Shanghai.

Linda Zhang Bin manages AMS Brookes Bell in Shanghai.  She holds a qualification in Management and Sales and began her career as an interpreter working within a large Chinese Conglomerate before joining Hua Yang LPG as assistant to the General Manager. Linda started AMS Shanghai Ltd. in 2001 and obtained Agency agreements with some well known European as well as some Local Chinese companies.  Linda deals with the new ship building market, brokering new builds, as well as large scale repairs and conversion work in China, helping AMS Brookes Bell gain a reputation for the supply, design and fitting, of Hydraulic systems to new builds, with a particular reference to the oil and gas industries for vessels of various types.  From her experience Linda is now fluent in English and has a very comprehensive understanding of the Ship building and repair industry in China.

Amanda Smith joined Brookes Bell in 2010 and is group accountant. She was previously with Macfarlane & Co. Chartered Accountants, the LLP’s auditors. Before joining Brookes Bell, she worked for 12 years as an auditor and tax advisor in practice. Amanda has accountancy, auditing and tax experience with a range of sectors and industries and has an honours degree in Applied Accounting, is a Certified Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor.
