Andrew Kingshott’s career in marine engineering began with an interest in the Royal Navy and electronic engineering studies, leading him to the Merchant Navy cadetship with Maersk and experience in offshore oil and gas, where hands-on work shaped his problem-solving approach; he later transitioned to consulting engineering roles with Charles Taylor and Brookes Bell, focusing on marine engineering surveys and investigations, valuing practical experience and multidisciplinary collaboration to assist clients with complex technical and claims-related matters.
