David Brown joined Brookes Bell in June 2019 following completion of his MEng in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Strathclyde. David is the latest addition to the Naval Architecture Department at the Glasgow office.

Background

Through completion of several projects at University, David gained experience in analysing wave induced stress on offshore structures, using hand calculations and FEA software, and has experience in assessing intact and damage stability.  David also has experience in machinery outfitting and in defining those layouts using 3D CAD software.
